This project consisted of creating an iconic Chinese cultural public garden in the heart of Montréal’s Chinatown. Designed as a space for healing and community interaction, the garden incorporates universal accessibility, including features for individuals who are blind, and supports a wide range of activities for residents and visitors alike. Combining heritage character with contemporary innovation, the project successfully navigated complex constraints tied to its downtown setting along Viger Avenue, on a contaminated site with major hydrological limitations.
